Whether you’re a Flamenco Explained member looking to accelerate your progress, or an experienced guitarist who needs help navigating the real language of flamenco accompaniment — a private lesson with Kai cuts straight to what you actually need to work on.
Kai has taught music majors, absolute beginners, professional guitarists, and accomplished flamenco players who needed help understanding how to accompany cante and baile. There’s a big difference between being able to play flamenco guitar and truly understanding how flamenco works — that’s exactly what private lessons address.
What to Expect
Lessons are one hour, conducted over Teams or FaceTime. After each session, Kai provides a video recording of the lesson so you have something to reference as you practice. If you’re planning a trip to Andalucía and want to immerse yourself, in-person lessons in Granada can also be arranged.
Kai takes on a limited number of private students, so availability is not always open.
Pricing
$100 USD per hour.
Flamenco Explained yearly subscribers receive one free lesson included in their membership — if that’s you and you haven’t used yours yet, this is the time.
